Queen Anne’s County Parents and the newly elected BOE stopped political indoctrination of school children during Covid-19 pandemic when the prior Superintendent Dr. Andrea Kane sent alarming letter to parents on June 5,2020 promoting Black Lives Matter organization and anti-police sentiment to elementary, middle and high school children.

Kent Island Patriots Facebook group consisting of racially diverse parents stood against Political activism of Dr. Kane, elected new BOE and managed to stop Critical Race Theory and Project 1619 from being forced down on children in QAC Public Schools.
